Pengelompokkan Pengrajin Gerabah Dengan Menggunakan Algoritma Fuzzy C-Means (Studi Kasus: Desa Sitiwinangun Kabupaten Cirebon)

Abstract


Pottery is one of the characteristics possessed by Cirebon Regency besides batik, mask dance and glass painting. Currently, the number of pottery producers in Sitiwinangun Village is only 121 craftsmen with 142 workers. Whereas based on data from the Industry and Trade Office of Cirebon Regency, in 1996 - 1998, the production of craftsmen increased by about 30% with 239 craftsmen and 576 workers. The number of craftsmen who folded, on average due to capital difficulties, lack of creativity in determining the type of carving, and the lack of marketing is done. Based on that, the researcher tries to make a clustering model by using fuzzy c-means algorithm to classify the pottery based on the characteristics of its own. Of the 30 artisans of pottery, there are 23 craftsmen who enter into cluster 1, 6 pottery vessels that enter into cluster 2, and only 1 craftsman pottery into the cluster 3. Where Cluster 1 is the craftsmen who produce in dozens, the initial capital below Rp. 1,000,000. Members of cluster 2 are craftsmen who produce pottery for artwork, initial capital above Rp.2.000.000. and Members of cluster 3 are craftsmen who produce pottery for artwork but with initial capital around Rp.1.500.000
