PERANAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NATURE OF SAINS TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN SAINS SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman nature of sciencesiswa sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran nature of science. Metode yang digunakan adalah pra-ekperimen dengan desain one grup pretest posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket pemahaman NoS dan lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon menggunakan SPSS 22 pada α (0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman NoS siswa sebelum dengan sesudah diberikan model pembelajaran Nature of science, hal ini ditunjukkan oleh sig (0,000) < α (0,05); (2) Rata-rata pemahaman Nature of science siswa setelah diberikan model pembelajaran Nature of science (3,75) lebih tinggi dari pada rata-rata tingkat pemahaman sains siswa sebelum diberikan model pembelajaran NoS (2,57). Disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran NoS berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pemahaman Nature of science siswa kelas V SD Negeri Cibatok 1. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, guru di sekolah disarankan untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran nature of science.
